Dumb Boards

We’ve heard a lot about smart boards and their amazing capability. Many people—especially corporate clients—don’t want too much of that. They just want a simple white board that you can write on and wipe off, but have it saved to a computer. Dumb boards do just that.

A video whiteboard (aka 'dumb board') can be used in a range of applications including video input, IMAG, content creation, videoconferencing, and integrated media systems.

In addition to HD/SD outputs, information written on a video whiteboard can be captured and stored as a JPEG image onto any USB flash drive.

Typical video whiteboards interpret data, providing an output in high definition digital video at resolutions of 720p/59.94Hz and 720p/50Hz. Standard definition videos are available in resolutions of 480i/29.97Hz and 576i/25Hz.

In short, this is definitely one item that caught our eyes at InfoComm - and one you should be on the lookout for, too!
