Audio Visual Systems Technician I (Full Time Position)
The A/V Systems Technician I is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electronic communication systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, installing and/or servicing systems in the most efficient and effective manner to assure minimum down time and maximum performance.
Qualifications include:
- Must have a four-year electronics degree or equivalent combination of education and related field experience.
- Must possess a strong understanding of electronic systems, such as professional sound, video, healthcare communication, and education systems.
- Maintain a working knowledge of intercom, access control, CCTV, audiovisual presentation systems and control and integration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Additional Requirements:
- Must possess a valid and current driver’s license, a clean driving record, and no criminal history.
- Heavy lifting of objects is required. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Extensive ladder and lift work.
